Unite challenges Lloyds and their suppliers of agency and contractor staff to do the right thing

When Lloyds Banking Group announced it would be providing all of their employees with a £1000 cost of living payment (pro rata for part-time) it was a bitter pill for agency workers to swallow as they help contribute to Lloyds success every bit as a permanent employee, yet feel abandoned when it comes to certain benefits and support they are excluded from.
This week Caren Evans, Unite National Officer for Lloyds Banking Group, has written to suppliers utilised by Lloyds Banking Group challenging both to do better when it comes to supporting their agency and contractor workers through the cost of living crisis.
