Dunfermline office to close in 2026

LBG has today announced the closure of the Dunfermline office (Pitreavie) which will take place H2 2026 with colleagues moving to Edinburgh City Centre offices.

This will probably come as quiet a shock to many colleagues who have worked at Pitreavie for many years.

Your Unite team have pressed on LBG do everything possible to mitigate any adverse impacts to colleagues on the back of this announced closure, in particular, addressing the inevitable impact this move will have on colleagues both in travel time and costs.

We have asked that the bank look at discounted car parking in Edinburgh. as this will be a big ask and expense for colleagues who can park for free at Pitreavie currently, as well as help with travel costs for colleagues who will be impacted by these changes.
