GCOO

Changes to the GCOO Engagement and Communication team and wider communications changes were announced today, which has changed the role that some colleagues will perform.

Some colleagues will be mapped into a new role, while some will go through a selection process for the new roles. Ultimately, there will be colleagues at risk of losing their jobs at the end of the process.

Unite will work with the bank with the aim of making sure that no colleagues will be made compulsorily redundant.

Chief Controls Office

You will have seen today that there will be changes to the operating model within Chief Controls Office.

The movements and associated changes have resulted in some roles being removed. Some colleagues will have been placed into different or new roles, and some will be at risk of redundancy.

Unite will work with the bank with the aim of making sure that no colleagues will be made compulsorily redundant.

The new structure will take effect from 11th December 2023.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

On a call this morning, colleagues were briefed on changes to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, with new structures announced.

For roles that will no longer exist in the new structure, colleagues will either be mapped into a new role or go through a selection process. Ultimately, there may be colleagues who don’t have a role at the end of the process.

The new structure will take place from 1st January 2024.

Group Corporate Affairs

Changes to the Internal Communications team and wider knock-on effects were announced today, which has changed the role that some colleagues will perform.

Some colleagues will be mapped into a new role, while some will go through a selection process for the new roles. Ultimately, there will be colleagues at risk of losing their jobs at the end of the process.
